Identifier Īfter rebooting I selected the new SSD entry in the boot manager and immediately got a message about a hardware/software change. Then I updated the Boot Manager using EasyBCD to include the new SSD drive: Both partitions are logical partitions within an extended partition. I cloned the partition using Easeus Home. I wanted to migrate my existing Windows 7 installation from an HDD so a new SSD ( Intel SSDSA2CW080G3 80 GB). Only thing to do now is aligning and some other SSD optimizations. Edit: In case someone else experiences the same problem, I used Paragon Backup & Restore in a second try to backup the partition and then restore it to the SSD.
